Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum | Full-Time Position
The Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Marketing Coordinator who is passionate about literature, art, and culture, and has a strong connection to Tel Aviv–Yafo.
This role is ideal for someone with experience managing digital content, editing, and communication across multiple platforms and languages.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the museum’s digital collection: upload, catalog, and tag new materials.
• Coordinate editing, translation, preservation, and information retrieval with museum departments.
• Conduct research to enrich the museum’s collection and support its goals.
• Manage and update the museum’s website regularly in Hebrew, Arabic, and English.
• Collaborate with the social media and marketing team: organize and deliver materials, and edit images for various platforms.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in content management and digital platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew, Arabic, and English.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in a cultural institution, archive, collection, or municipal organization – an advantage.

Operator / Shift Manager
Position scope: Shift work including weekends (Saturdays)
Job description:
1. Opening the museum and managing teams responsible for cleaning, security, and ticketing.
2. Overseeing visitor flow and proper functioning of exhibitions during the shift, operating systems.
3. Preparing museum spaces for events and exhibitions (lectures, workshops, rooftop screenings, etc.).
4. Working with museum staff and providing real-time technical support.
5. Logistical support and safety supervision, including assistance in emergencies.
Required skills:
1. Technological orientation, ability to learn computerized systems.
2. Previous experience in event management and/or productions.
3. Good interpersonal skills, availability, and flexibility.
4. Willingness to perform physical work.
Employer: Self-employed – invoicing
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Salary: 60 NIS per hour / 90 NIS on Saturdays

Are you passionate about culture and enjoy working with people? Our museum is looking for a friendly and dynamic Customer Service Representative to welcome visitors and support our daily operations.
What you’ll do:
- Be the first point of contact for visitors, both in person and by phone.
- Promote and sell tickets, memberships, and special events.
- Operate the ticketing system and manage reservations.
- Provide information and guidance about exhibitions and activities.
- Support museum opening and closing procedures.

3. Opening vendors, handling invoices, petty cash, and data entry into the Priority system
4. Recruitment of staff, responsibility and oversight of employment contract signing
5. Managing a small team and providing professional support for the organization’s needs

2. Full proficiency in Excel and Office applications

Events Coordinator
Position scope: Full-time
Start date: Immediate
The Tel Aviv–Yafo City Museum invites you to join a professional, creative, and dynamic team and lead the museum’s events department. The position includes full responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing museum events—from community gatherings to large-scale flagship days. The role includes working with internal and external stakeholders, managing suppliers, leading cultural evening productions, and helping create meaningful experiences for the museum’s diverse audiences. Includes rental events (private and corporate).
Job Description
1. Logistical management and coordination of all museum events (30–8,000 participants).
2. Close work with an external producer during event licensing processes.
3. Identifying and coordinating suppliers, external producers, and service providers.
4. Collaborating with museum departments to tailor events to programmatic needs.
5. Writing, planning, and tracking price quotes and budgets.
6. Leading event setup and dismantling processes and being present at evening events.
6. Significant advantage for experience in sponsorship acquisition and event partnerships.
Job Requirements
1. Experience in producing events of various scales, indoors and outdoors.
2. Ability to coordinate and work independently in a multi-task environment.
3. Ability to handle changes and issues quickly and creatively.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
5. Experience working with suppliers, building budgets, and managing contracts.
6. Fluent Hebrew. Arabic is an advantage.
7. Availability for evening work and Fridays when needed.
