Guide Training Day at the City Museum | Ahead of the Opening of the New Exhibition A City on Troubled Waters

Ahead of the opening of the new exhibition, "City on Troubled Waters", and the relaunch of the renewed Dizengoff Office at the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum, we are holding a training day for tour guides, urban walk leaders, and anyone else interested in incorporating the City Museum into their tour routes and in getting an up-close look at the new content, the museum's exhibitions, and options for working with groups at the museum.
About the annual exhibition City on Troubled Waters: The exhibition explores the city’s story through images of construction and renewal, memory and change, and the relationship between the city and the sea, inviting visitors to think of Tel Aviv-Yafo as a city constantly shifting between stability and upheaval.

Program: 
Part 1:
10:00–10:15 – Gathering and opening remarks from the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum
10:15–10:45 – Tour of the new exhibition A City on Stormy Waters
10:45–11:00 – Information for guides: coordinating visits, booking groups, and guidance options at the museum
11:00–11:30 – Introduction to the renewed Dizengoff Office, led by Yaara Glor, Museum Archive Director

Part 2: for first-time museum visitors
11:30–11:45 – Break
11:45–12:30 – Introductory tour of the museum’s permanent exhibitions and program
