Three drawing and painting sessions for adults on the theme of living, growing, and the inanimate in the city
The workshop will focus on drawing in sunset light, in black and white or with dry color media, depicting urban landscapes in Tel Aviv's city gardens. Through our drawings in the garden, we will seek to trace the unique characteristics of the encounter between natural organic forms and man-made urban forms. We will explore shifts in light and shadow as day transitions into evening, and how this affects the expression of visible reality and the marks we make.
We will examine characteristics related to emphasis in the worlds of Impressionist drawing and painting, such as color, texture, mark-making, and more.
