On Love, Family and Home in a Year of War

We selected three words to encapsulate the chaotic and quiet moments of the past year: love, family, and home. Each word carries thoughts, emotions, hopes, and fears, representing our ties to the city and the places we call home, moments of sadness and rebellion, and glimmers of light in the darkness.

As we approach one year since the outbreak of the war, the City Museum is holding three intimate workshops to gather stories about our current times. The workshops are intended for anyone who wishes to write, share and record their story.
*Some recorded stories will be kept in the museum's story archive.
*Some of the workshops' output will be presented to the public at an open event at the museum hosted by Maya Kosover.
*People signing up for the workshop must complete the attached legal form.
*The number of participants is limited.
*Participants must register in advance and pay a fee of 40 ILS.

The workshops will be held between 19:00-22:30

•    08.10 - Stories on Home - a duo-lingual workshop led by Ibtisam Mara'ana and Maya Kosover - at Beit Habe'er, Yafo (location)

Maya Kosover is a pioneer of Israeli podcasts. She is a radio professional, story hunter-gatherer, and podcast creator. Her work includes One Song, a TV program and podcast on Kan 11, The Plague, and Israeli Story.

Ibtisam Mara'ana is a film and TV professional and director of the hit program Excuse My Asking on Kan 11. Ibtisam is a former Knesset member and human rights and coexistence activist.
