A new tour at the Tel Aviv-Yafo City Museum traces the evolution of cafés in the city—from their beginnings in Jaffa to the present day—and offers a perspective on culture, ideology, and the encounters formed around small wooden tables and a cup of coffee.
What’s in the program?
Each participant receives a postcard set as a gift.
The tour moves between display points in the museum and tells the story of the city through its cafés—mythical and contemporary.
We’ll explore the café as a cross-cultural arena, its role in the development of Hebrew culture, and how it reflects social changes over the years.
After the tour, participants are invited to continue exploring the museum at their own pace.
