In this tour, you’ll discover the city from a surprising artistic angle and gain a deeper understanding of the connection between artistic creation and the urban space that inspires it.
If you haven’t visited the museum yet, now’s your chance to get two for the price of one – both the permanent exhibition and the new one, intertwined to offer a rich, multilayered, and thought-provoking experience.
During the guided tour, we’ll encounter works from the museum’s city story collection, dive into “Sympathy” by David Polonsky, uncover the stories behind Dizengoff’s office and Leonie Schein’s Office 11, and travel back in time with “Sand Legend” and Zohar Gotesman’s “Tel.”
Together we’ll ask:
• What’s the connection between an urban story collection and contemporary visual art?
• Why are there two municipal offices at the heart of the museum?
• How does art tell the city’s story not only as it was but as it continues to evolve?
The tour is suitable for all audiences and requires no prior knowledge.
You’re invited to discover City Level – a fresh look at the city you thought you already knew.
